Number of unemployed droped 1,5 times in Astana

Since the start of the year the number of unemployed people registered in our city has reduced more than 1.5-fold amounting to 2939 people this month, astana.kz referst to the Department of economy and budget planning of Astana city.
4811 citizens applied to the employment service, 1181 of them have been employed, and 993 take part in public works. In order to employ residents of our city, workers of the metropolitan Administration of employment and social programs hold job fairs on a regular basis. Since the start of the year, 4 such arrangements have been held including a job fair for people with disabilities. According to the agency, 1200 out of over 3500 people who attended these arrangements have been employed.
