Kazakhstan and Qatar intend to launch direct flight
Currently, an Agreement on mutual understanding between aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Qatar, signed on March 25, 1999 is a legal basis for the carrying out of air traffic, according to the document the both states have a right for regular flights with the frequency not less than seven flights a week.
During the negotiations, Kazakhstan has proposed to consider a new draft air transport agreement.
Doha International Airport is an airport in Doha, Qatar. It featured 60 check-in counters, 42 parking bays for aircraft and 8 baggage claim belts.The airport suffered from overutilization, even though the airport had been expanded numerous times. Before the opening of the new airport, the capacity stood at 12 million passengers per year.
Its 14,993 ft (4,570 m)runway was one of the longest at a civil airport. It was the main base of Qatar Airways.
