Kazakh President held a meeting with EBRD President

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Sir Suma Chakrabarti held a meeting on the sidelines of the Foreign Investors' Council to discuss the bank's activities in Kazakhstan, the President's press service informed.
EBRD activity including participation of the Bank in realization of different projects in our country were touched upon during the meeting.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted Kazakhstan and EBRD achieved a framework agreement on partnership that affords great opportunities for broadening bilateral cooperation.
"Kazakhstan allocates KZT 1 trillion 600 mln for the economic development, the same amount of investments will be attracted from another sources. I know the cooperation between the Kazakh Government and EBRD was fruiful. I hope our mutual cooperation will continue," the President resumed.
EBRD works in 34 countries from Central Europe to Central Asia, and the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean.
