Kazakh Leader run EXPO 2017 flag up

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev run the BIE flag up during the opening of the 27th plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council chaired by President in Borovoye resort area on Thursday June 12, 2014.

“Kazakhstan has gained the right to host EXPO 2017 International exhibition; our delegation has successfully defeated the registration of the dossier and was presented a flag of the BIE. This symbol shows the confidence of Kazakhstan. I propose to start a session from the ceremony with running the BIE flag up ,” the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the opening ceremony

It bears reminding, the Kazakh delegation took part in the 155th General Assembly of the Bureau International d'Exposition (BIE) within the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerlan Idrissov to France. Kazakhstan received the official recognition of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 Astana. In this regard President of France Ferdinand Nagi and Secretary General of the Bureau of International Exhibitions Vicente Gonzalez Loscertales presented BIE flag to Yerlan Idrissov.

EXPO-2017 exhibitoon will be held in Astana from 10 June to 10 September 2017. Over 100 countries, more than 10 international organizations and various leading companies in the field of innovative technologies. Will arrived in Astana to participate in the event.
