97% of coronavirus cases in Almaty are imported

Nowadays 73 coronavirus cases have been detected in Almaty, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to coronavirus2020.kz.
“From March 13, the initial increase in the incidence was noted three times: on the fifth day - 9 cases per day, on the 15th day there were 16 and on the 18th day - 10 new cases per day. Total, according to the analysis, 97% of these 73 cases belong to the category of imported and 3% to the category of local. Also, 26 imported cases - passengers arriving from other countries, have infected 45 contacts to date. 2 cases are local, which have a certain number of contacts”, Aizat Moldagassimova, head of the department for monitoring the quality and safety of goods and services of Almaty, said during an online briefing.
She also added from which flights or countries the coronavirus was most often imported to Almaty.
“40% of patients arrived on flights from Moscow, 23% fell on Berlin - Almaty, 20% on flights St. Petersburg - Almaty, and 17% on those who arrived on the flight Minsk - Almaty," she said.
According to her age, according to her data, the greatest number of cases falls on active age from 30 to 39 years, in second place - people from 20 to 29 years old, in third place - people from 50 to 59 years old. Most of all, women in Almaty are ill - 62.5%, men - 37.5%.
