Astana Roadmap for 2015-2019 to be adopted at 25th session of Energy Charter Conference

Astana Roadmap is expected to be adopted at the the 25th session of the Energy Charter Conference, which is to be held in November 26-27, in Astana," Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan Uzakbai Karabalin annouced at the press conference in Astana today.
The Energy Charter Conference, an inter-governmental organization, is the governing and decision-making body for the Energy Charter process, and was established by the 1994 Energy Charter Treaty.
As the Minister stated, the Astana Roadmap is of paramount importance since it will to certain extent determine the future of the organization for the next 5 years.
The latest roadmap was adopted in Rome in 2009.
Kazakhstan chairs the Energy Charter Conference this year.
