Deputy Minister of Interior recieved OSCE PA Chairman

Deputy Minister of Interior of Kazakhstan has met with Member of Parliament (Portugal), Chairperson of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions Isabel Santos.
The meeting was focused on human rights in places of detention, and achievement of compliance with international and national legislation in this area.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Kurenbekov informed about the work being done in prisons to improve conditions and strengthen the material-technical base, interaction with civil society organizations, international non-governmental organizations and Kazakhstan.
