‘Astana –Schuchinsk’ highway to be equipped with modern motorway services by 2016

A highway “Astana- Schuchinsk” will be equipped with modern motorway services by 2016, according to regional administration.
In connection with preparation of Astana- Borovoye highway to tourist inflow for a period of EXPO 2017 holding, the businessmen of five areas of Akmola region initiated creation of motorway services through the territories where the road is laid.
In this regard, department of tourism of Akmola region together with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan carries out a work on defining the places along the highway to locate the above mentioned facilities.
Besides, the Governor Office of the region initiated boosting of the development and adoption of state standards for roadside service, the lack of which delays processes’ implementation.
