Kazakhstan & Cuba in favor of liberalization of visa regime for citizens - MFA
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kazakh delegation held interagency consultations with the Cuban side, headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Rokhelio Sierra.
A wide range of bilateral cooperation issues within the UN and other international organizations was discussed during the meeting.
The sides expressed satisfaction by the strengthening of political dialogue and noted the stage-by-stage enlarging of the legal basis, evidenced by the signing of this year bilateral agreements in the field of education and sports.
Particular attention was paid to the need to expand trade, economic and investment partnership.
Y. Ashikbayev and R. Sierra spoke in favor the further liberalization of the visa regime between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Cuba, which will contribute to the expansion of contacts between the business communities of the two countries and increase the tourist exchange.
