Kazakh-Vietnamese relations touched upon in Hanoi

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Vietnam Beketzhan Zhumakhanov met with Deputy Prime Minister -Minister for Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh in Hanoi.
According to the Kazakh MFA, the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
In connection with the opening of the Kazakh Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Pham Binh Minh noted the wide prospects for trade and economic cooperation and interaction witin the establishment of free trade zone between Vietnam and the Customs Union.
During the meeting the Kazakh diplomat conveyed a personal message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerlan Idrissov on the nomination of Kazakhstan for non-permanent UN Security Council members on the 2017-2018 years.
