A number of changes will be introduced in the legislation on provision of land in Kazakhstan, Minister of Regional Development Bolat Zhamishev told a briefing in the Central Communications Service.
"In the process of land inventory there were revealed a number of problems related to the issues of determining which land is not used and which is used inefficiently. Therefore it is proposed to make a number of changes in the rules in order to specify the concepts and mechanisms of how the inefficient use of land will be determined," he said.
According to the minister, it is also proposed to give the status of the normative document to the Rules of Rational Use of Land. At present, this issue is addressed by the Regional Development Ministry together with Agriculture Ministry.
In addition, it is planned to address the issues of use of the pledged land.
