Kazakh Defense Ministry held seminar on peacekeepers’ training in the UN mission

Training and directions to the UN mission peacekeepers were the focus of a seminar for officers of the Ministry of Defense, held in Astana, with the support of the the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO).
Representatives of the structural units of Kazakh Defense Ministry involved in the preparation of peacekeepers, KAZBRIG peacekeeping brigade, "Partnership for Peace” Training Center of the Military Institute of the Army participated in the event, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported.
Deputy head of General headquarter of the Kazakh Defense Ministry M. Dyusekeyev held working meetings to discuss the authority’s plans relating sending of soldiers to the UN missions.
The UN mobile training group will arrive to the Partnership for Peace” Training Center in the end of 2014.
