Kazakhstan to restart air service with Mongolia
Deputy Chairman of Civil Aviation Committee under MTC Talgat Lastayev pointed out that opening new flights was contributed by signing the Memorandum of Understanding between aviation authorities of the two countries which took place a day before at the 6th meeting of Kazakhstan – Mongolia Intergovernmental Commission for Commercial, Science/Technology and Cultural Cooperation.
“As is well-known, the biggest Kazakh diaspora live in Mongolia. From them, as well as from Members of Parliament, multiple requests have come to the Committee as to the restarting of the air service. We have discussed this issue many times, and just in early April, we initialed the text of Memorandum, and now it has been signed. It is especially good that the initiative was supported by Kazakhstani carriers, and the air service will now be arranged with several cities in Mongolia”, Talgat Lastayev said.
