Kazakhstan's movie takes on - Kazakh Culture Ministry

Today speaking at the media briefing in the Central Communications Service, Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Muhamediuly announced that attendance of the Kazakh movies has increased 400-fold over the past five years.
"I am pleased to say that the number of spectators of the Kazakh films has increased 400 times. This points to the fact that there is a huge interest in our art", A.Muhamediuly added.
According to him, this shows presence of a tremendous interest in our art. Besides, there is a systematic work ongoing on the issue of rental of the Kazakhstani films.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mukhamediuly also noted that now the young Kazakh directors are being nominated at the international festivals more frequently.
