President familiarized with work of light industry enterprise in S Kazakhstan region

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has visited Bal Tekstil Ltd. - a manufactory producing carpets and tapestries in Shymkent, the press service of Akorda informs.
The Head of State was briefed on the process of implementation of specific projects in the territory of the Special economic zone "Ontustik". President Nazarbayev also familiarized with producing process of the manufactory.
Bal Tekstil Ltd. is the first-ever manufactory producing carpets and rugs in the region. It is expected to create 700 workplaces when it reaches its full estimated capacity.
