Kazakh Government approved amendments to draft law on property legalization – B. Sultanov (INFOGRAPHICS)
The legalization period was defined from September 1, 2014 to December 31, 2015.
"According to the document, money, securities, and interest in the authorized capital of the entity are subject to the legalization. The legalization objects also include buildings, land on which it is located meeting the building regulations. As well as building registered on ineligible person," the head of the Ministry of Finance told.
He also added that real property located outside the country is also subject to legalization.
"The property received as a result of certain crimes, including crimes against the person, constitutional and other rights and freedoms, the constitutional order and security of the state, as well as a result of corruption and other offenses and crimes against the interests of the public service excluded from legalization," B. Sultanov said.
Thus, the funds will be credited to the special savings accounts opened in the second-tier banks.
