Kazakh Prosecutor General’s Office, Judicial Department of Monaco sign memo on understanding
During the meeting there was a constructive dialogue and exchange of views on actual interdepartmental issues, in particular, in the field of combating crime, expansion of the contractual legal framework. An accord on discussing issues on signing of intergovernmental agreements in the legal sphere was also reached.
Memorandum of understanding between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Justice of the Principality of Monaco was signed as the result of negotiations.
The Memorandum was signed in order to implement the Joint statement, adopted during the meeting of the President of Kazakhstan with the Prince of Monaco Albert II in 2012, within the framework of which an agreement was reached on joint work on strengthening international security and stability.
Mr. A.Daulbayev underlined that signing of the Memorandum would be the testimony of the growing trust on Kazakhstan's legal system.
As noted by the parties, the event confirms the interest of the authorized bodies of Kazakhstan and Monaco in further development and deepening of cooperation, as well as in integration of the Kazakhstan law enforcement bodies in the sphere of international cooperation in combating transnational crime.
