Kazakhstan Development Bank and Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium-Magnesium Plant ink agr’t on investment projects’ financing

Kazakhstan Development Bank and Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium-Magnesium Plant (UK TMC) have signed an Agreement on financing of investment projects and export operations, realized by the UK TMC.

The Agreement aims financing of the investment project “Expanding and modernization of UK TMC JSC production and export operations, realized by the plant,” according to Kazakhstan development Bank .

“Ust-Kamenogorsk Titan-Magnesium Plant” Joint-Stock Company is one of the world's largest producers of spongy titanium, magnesium in the form of ingots and powders, vanadium pent-oxide.

The enterprise manufactures the following kinds of production: spongy titanium of various marks; primary magnesium in ingots, magnesium powder; vanadium pent-oxide in powder.

"UK TMC" JSC applies the advanced technological processes as well as modern equipment for manufacture of spongy titanium, magnesium, processing of chloride production wastes. The high quality of spongy titanium is recognized all over the world. According to integrated approach of raw material usage, the plant takes a leading place among the related enterprises of near and far abroad. In October, 2000 official start-up of ore-thermal complex took place at the plant on melting of ilmenite concentrates with reception of titanic slag - raw material for reception of metal titan.
