First labor visa for special preferences issued in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan’s startup Clockster, powered by the Astana Hub international technology park of IT startups and Expat Center AIFC, invited Mr. Sunny Kinger from India, who is an expert in mobile application development, to join their team as part of the special labor regime that operates in Astana Hub.
The expert will be engaged in developing the Android version for Clockster in the next 5 years.
Clockster is a cloud-based automation system for HR processes for small and medium-sized businesses (mainly focus on HoReCa, Retail) using biometric technologies. Clockster team is a member of the Astana Hub acceleration program.
What does a special visa regime mean?
For Astana Hub members:
1. A labor visa is offered up to 5 years (in a standard case, the limit of the labor visa is 3 years);
2. An invitation is prepared directly, without employment agency’s participation. This saves a lot of time.
It should be noted that today more than 100 companies are registered in Astana Hub as part of the list of priority areas that enjoy tax benefits (corporate income tax - 0%, personal income tax - 0%, VAT - 0%, social tax on non-residents - 0%).
