KAZAKH INVEST - central front office supporting investors
According to the document, KAZAKH INVEST National Company has become the main operator for investors. The National Company has a number of functions in this area, including conducting official contacts and negotiations on behalf of the Kazakh Government, providing advice and presentations on the investment opportunities of the country, providing assistance in resolving issues arising in the course of investment activities, as well as interacting with investors relating to supporting investors in obtaining public services, as well as other services provided by other organizations on the “single window” principle.
“There are situations when some procedures for obtaining certain public services are not always understood by foreign citizens. At present, “single window” should not only be another form and method of attracting investments, but a different and completely new mechanism for working with investors. The principle of “single window” is developed to ensure the availability of information and transparency of procedures in the country, investor support at all stages of the investment project, timely resolution of emerging issues, a single point of contact between investors and the state. In general, “single window” gives investors not only comfortable conditions for receiving public services, but also accessibility and transparency of procedures, effective interaction with government bodies”, Birzhan Kaneshev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC, said.
By the way, the foreign level providing services for investors will be represented by foreign institutions of Kazakhstan, as well as foreign missions responsible for implementing the country's investment policy. At the regional level, services will be provided to investors by specialized front offices that will operate on the “single window” principle. They will include specialists from local executive bodies, public service centers, Atameken regional entrepreneur chambers, Damu Foundation, social and business corporations, migration, customs and tax authorities, as well as monopolists, notaries and interpreter translators.
According to experts, the adoption of these amendments will allow to regulate the organization of activities of the “single window” and simplify the process of obtaining state and other services by investors. These innovations are the next step of the country's leadership to improve the investment climate in Kazakhstan.
