Kazakh President kicks off Capital Day celebration
“The moment when the banner of Kazakhstan soars high above the ground, our hearts are filled with a sense of pride for our country, for all the achievements to which we owe to our independence! Since its establishment, our capital has become a visible embodiment of success of Kazakhstan’s development model”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his speech.

Addressing the graduates of higher military educational institutions, the Head of State stressed that today the flag of Kazakhstan is known all over the world as a symbol of a peaceful and balanced policy aimed at ensuring security and stability in the region and on the entire planet.

“In today's difficult geopolitical situation, our warriors adequately fulfill the peacekeeping mission in various hot spots. Officer ranks are honored only to those people who work with complete dedication, are distinguished by high moral character and iron discipline. The State will always create the conditions for the country's professional armed forces to meet the requirements of the times. The security of Kazakhstan directly depends on your high-quality work”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev told young officers.
During the ceremony, 27 honors students, graduates of higher military educational institutions received officer shoulder straps from the hands of the President of Kazakhstan - the Supreme Commander.

In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated all those present on the upcoming Capital Day and wished the nation of Kazakhstan peace and prosperity.
