Kassym-Jomart Tokayev approved implementation plan for his election platform

The Decree aims to ensure the timely execution of all tasks on the socio-economic and political development of Kazakhstan, set out in the pre-election platform of the President, with the fixing of specific dates and responsible government agencies.

The Action Plan includes measures to modernize the judicial system, strengthen public control over the police service, improve the civil service, strengthen the accountability and public control of the quasi-public sector, remove barriers to competition and prevent monopolist abuse, establish uniform standards for guaranteed social support for citizens, protection of their financial interests, as well as a number of other activities.

For issues of a complex and long-term nature, involving interagency cooperation, government agencies will approve separate Roadmaps, the development of which will involve the expert community. These documents will regulate specific sequence of actions, outcome indicators and deadlines for the tasks set by the Head of State.

Control over the execution of the Plan is entrusted to the Presidential Administration.
