Prosecutors must pay special attention to the rights of citizens - Tokayev
During the meeting, the Head of State was reported on the state of law and order in the country.
The Prosecutor General reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the lowering of crime rates and the work being done to protect the constitutional rights of citizens in the criminal process, activities to combat certain types of crimes.
The President of Kazakhstan was informed about the implementation of electronic criminal and administrative proceedings, as well as the automation of the appointment process for inspections.
The Head of State mentioned the need to continue work to ensure the rule of law in all spheres of life. Prosecutors must pay special attention to the rights of citizens.
“Prosecution authorities should ensure strict compliance with the laws when using budget funds allocated for social and other government programs. Violations of the law must be firmly stopped”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
