Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the Akorda press service informs.
The meeting discussed the enhancement of bilateral economic partnership.
“Our countries have many in common, Kazakh and Armenian companies closely cooperate in various spheres. Such ties should be given an additional trigger that will strengthen the trade and economic relations,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

Nikol Pashinyan also expressed confidence to further expand the economic interaction between Kazakhstan and Armenia.
“Economic ties between our countries strengthen, the trade turnover is on the rise. Nevertheless, we have a huge growth potential in this area, which is not being used properly. Our structures need even closer interaction, including within the EAEU,” the Armenian Prime Minister said.
