Tokayev congratulates Kazakh people on Victory Day

Dear compatriots!

I sincerely convey my congratulations to everyone of you on the Victory Day!

This Day is special to all of us.

Our people played an invaluable role in overall victory. Kazakh nationals heroically fought on all fronts of war and nearly half of them never came home. Their bravery and unwavering will contributed to peace and tranquility in the world.

Kazakhstan played its role in supplying the Army through the devotion of steadfast workers. During the war years, hundreds of plants and factories were relocated to our country.  And thousands of wagons filled with clothes and foodstuff were sent to front lines.

It is our very solemn duty to remember that terrible war and remain true to the heroic deed of elder people.

I wish health, a long life, to keep your spirits high to veterans and home front workers!
