Early election of President of Kazakhstan is required for the legitimacy of authority – Nazarbayev
While visiting Nur Otan Party’s central office, the first President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation got familiarized with the political organization’s activities and met the heads of structural subdivisions.
In light of the recent political events, Nursultan Nazarbayev has stated that the party faces strategic tasks.
“Having marked the 20th anniversary, the recent Nur Otan party congress brought new goals and tasks. The events that country witnessed are known to all. Yet, I am the Chairman of the party, the Security Council and the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan”, the first Kazakh President said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev outlined that the active and effective work has developed Nur Otan party into the leading political force of the country.
“The reforms, progress and citizen participation are the party’s uniting framework, with social stability, unity and consent of the people turned into the underlying development priorities. The decent living conditions and Kazakhstan’s development as a people-centered State were and remain of high priority”, the Nur Otan Chairman said.
With this regard, the first President of Kazakhstan stressed that there should not be social dependency, pointing to the necessity to create new workplaces for Kazakh citizens.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Nur Otan party should take active participation in the impending electoral campaign.
“Kassym-Jomart Tokaeyev signed a decree to hold an early election of the President of Kazakhstan required for the legitimacy of authority and stability within the country. It is necessary to convene a party convention to nominate the candidate. The party office should hold all necessary preparations for a convention in short time. Upon the nomination, the work of our candidate’s electorate office should be organized. My first Deputy Maulen Ashimbayev is in charge”, the first Kazakh President said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also attached attention to hold the elections in full conformity with the legislation of the country and the democratic norms and procedures.
The meeting heard a report of the party’s first Deputy Chairman Mr Ashimbayev on the work held to organize the electorate office.
Having heard Mr Ashibayev’s report, the first President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of the central office and the party branches’ work to be timely and well-oiled.
“The party has a heavy responsibility to ensure the consistency of our political course and the implementation of all the strategic tasks voiced by me. Nur Otan party turned into a main locomotive in modernizing Kazakhstan. Therefore, all the tasks should be achieved in full”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The Nur Otan party Chairman highlighted the implementation of the projects such as “Bakytty otbasy”, “Kutty meken”, “Aul – el besigi” and “Khalykka komek” to be effective.
On top of that, the Leader of the Nation tasked to approve a specific action plan to carry out the party’s new program by 2030.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also underlined that Nur Otan party should be key for the stuffing of public administration and tasked to set up a staff pool of the party.
The Leader of the Nation reiterated the importance of effective public awareness activities on the ongoing issues of state policy, which should be carried out by the party’s members.
“Nur Otan party should be the main institute in clarifying my policy. The time and the results reached revealed that the course we chose was right. Concrete work should be commenced for its further realisation”, the first Kazakh President said.
