Kazakh President met OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Miroslav Lajčák
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the peace-loving nature of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy, pointing to the commitment to constructive cooperation with international organizations.
“I am glad to welcome you in the city of Nur-Sultan”, the Kazakh Head of State said.
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Miroslav Lajčák told that the Organization focuses on preventing conflicts, ensuring security, effective multilateral cooperation, underlining Kazakhstan’s strategic role in settling international crises.
“I am pleased you received me and my delegation. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate on your assumption of the duties of the President and wish the best for you and your country. I am very glad to visit Kazakhstan as Chairperson of the OSCE”, Miroslav Lajčák said.
The current issues on the regional and international agenda came under discussion during the meeting, with the prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and the OSCE being highlighted.
