Kazakh, Japanese parliamentarians to interact closely
Gulmira Isimbayeva handed over an official invitation to partake in the 4th Meeting of the Speakers of Parliaments of Eurasia themed “Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership” to the Japanese parliamentarian. The event is scheduled for September 23-24 this year in the city of Nur-Sultan (previously called Astana).
In his turn, Tadamori Ōshima expressed his appreciation to the First President of Kazakhstan for the significant contribution in establishing and developing bilateral relations, pointing to the great success the country achieved under Nursultan Nazarbayev’s leadership in the formation of a politically stable country with a strong economy.
He also marked the historic role of Nursultan Nazarbayev’s speech in the Parliament of Japan in 2016. Speaking of the importance of the First President’s visit to Hiroshima, Tadamori Ōshima underlined Nursultan Nazarbayev’s initiatives and concrete actions made his possible to rightly be a world leader of the anti-nuclear movement.
The meeting discussed development issues of interparliamentary cooperation between the two States. Gulmira Isimbayeva expressed the hope that the interparliamentary relations between Kazakhstan and Japan will gain added impetus so that they will boost the cooperation between the two countries at large.
