Kazakh President Tokayev receives US, Chinese ambassadors
During an official ceremony of accepting credentials, Kazakh president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary William Moser on the official start of his diplomatic work in Kazakhstan, noting its importance to strengthen the bilateral relations.

“We appreciate the current level of Kazakhstan-US relations. I would like to thank US President Donald Trump for his warmest regards to me as the new President of Kazakhstan,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In turn, William Moser expressed his gratitude to the Head of State and outlined the prospects for relations of bilateral cooperation within the context of the last year visit of First President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev to the United States of America.
At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that his work would further strengthen the friendship and trust between the two nations.

During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Zhang Xiao, the progressive nature of the Kazakhstan-China relations’ development was noted, as well as the confidence in their further enhancement in the name of the two nations.
In turn, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Xiao conveyed congratulations of China’s Chairman Xi Jinping on taking up the duties of President of Kazakhstan and assured he would make every effort to further develop bilateral cooperation in the spirit of friendship and strategic partnership.
