Kazakh President: The main goal is to increase the wellbeing of our citizens
The meeting has heard reports of First Deputy Prime Minister – Finance Minister Alikhan Smailov, Deputy Prime Ministers Zhenis Kassymbek and Gulshara Abdykalikova, Mayor of Almaty Baurzhan Baibek, Governor of the Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov, a press service of Akorda has informed.
Having noted the stable social and economic situation within the country and step-by-step realization of the national programmes, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the necessity to revitalize the work in a number of areas.
“The wise policy of the First President – Leader of the Nation allowed us to successfully withstand the most difficult times, resulting in the positive economic growth paces and increasing wellbeing of the population. Now it is important to sustain this momentum, to improve the approaches to the work and to ensure quality implementation of the tasks set. The main goal is to increase the wellbeing of our citizens and their confidence in the future,” said the Kazakh President.
The Head of State gave several instructions aimed at driving growth and attracting investments, enhancing social stability, addressing the most pressing infrastructural and environmental problems in the regions, preventing floods, ensuring a stable operation of the housing and utilities and social sphere, organizing preparations for and conducting spring field works.
The Presidential Administration was tasked to keep all the instructions under strict control.
