Leader of the Nation talked with Ukrainian President on the phone

First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev held a phone conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
During the phone conversation, the Ukrainian President marked Nursultan Nazarbayev historic role in developing the ties between Kazakhstan and Ukraine and strengthening the friendship between the two nations.
The two presidents agreed to continue regular contacts in the future.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine addressed a letter to Nursultan Nazarbayev on his resignation from the post of President of Kazakhstan.
“Your multi-faceted activities are key to the formation of independence, the development and strengthening of the Republic of Kazakhstan, that has become one of the most developed countries of the region through overcoming various political and economic challenges of the present,” reads a letter.
