Kazakh President met Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in UAE
“This key sports event will allow special athletes demonstrate their spirit and will to win. The team from Kazakhstan will also partake in the competitions. The leaders of your country traditionally participate in all international events held by Kazakhstan. So, I arrived to take part in the solemn opening ceremony of the Games to support,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President also has outlined that the previous year was prolific for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
“Our regular bilateral meetings and close relations built on brotherhood and reliance give quality impetus to the comprehensive development in all areas. Last year we exchange official visits, and reached important agreements, with their implementation being impressive,” he said.
In turn, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for accepting the invitation to visit the United Arab Emirates, outlining Kazakhstan’s role in establishing interfaith harmony and dialogue around the world.
“This year we have solemnly celebrated the 100th anniversary of the birth of our country’s founder. Your acquaintance with Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan lasted for 25 years. He really looked up to you, and admired you as a world leader. You inspired us to announce year 2019 as the Year of Tolerance, positioning the Emirates as a multinational, inter-cultural and interfaith center. In this regard, the historic visit of Pope Francisto the UAE took place this February,” Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said.
On top of that, the current topics on the international agenda, as well as the interaction in tourism, digitalization, space, transport, logistics and agriculture were under discussion, as well as the issues relating to expansion of the potential of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Council were considered in order to upgrade the mutual economic cooperation, investment attraction and market access for Kazakh products.

The Kazakh Head of State also paid a visit to one of the main attractions of the UAE - The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, and paid homage to the country’s founder and First President, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
During the visit, Nursultan Nazarbayev reviewed the architectural peculiarities of the Mosque’s building, and left memorable notes in the Book of Honorable Guests.
The Mosque fitting 50 thousand people at once has four 107-meter minarets on the building’s corners. It is covered by 82 white marble domes. The courtyard’s area is 17400 square meters.
