Smart Astana app helps unveil bought sick leaves
Now, using the Smart Astana application, it is possible to verify the authenticity of “083”, “086”, “094”, “095” medical certificates.
“It’s not a secret that previously there were a lot of advertisements about the sale of sick-lists, 083, 086 medical certificates. Now such ads have practically disappeared. And digitalization has helped in this”, Olzhas Sartayev, the Chairperson of the Board of Astana Innovations JSC, said.
From today, a document issued in all city polyclinics and hospitals is provided with a QR code.
“A special QR code will be affixed to each sick-list. Using the Smart Astana app, you can scan the QR code and verify the authenticity of the document. If it is actually registered, the system will show an identification number code and patient data”, Sartayev explained.
Also the city mobile application has a new function of physician’s rating. Deputy Mayor of Astana Malika Bekturova told about digitalization of the healthcare sphere.
“Recently, we have introduced an additional physician’s rating function in the Smart Astana application. This is done very simply: by scanning QR codes on the doorplates. Waiting in a queue or having visited a physician, you take out your phone, open the Smart Astana application, scan the QR code, see the data about the physician or physicians who receive in this office, and choose which physician you want to rate or leave an opinion”, the Deputy Mayor described the usage of the new function.
The rating of medical organizations is formed in the same way.
According to Malika Bekturova, all complaints will be considered promptly and measures will be taken on them. An answer to user's request will go to his personal account in the Smart Astana application. Wishes and recommendations of patients will be collected and taken into account.
“This is a good, fairly objective feedback. We know that these are not twisted “likes and comments”, but real feedback from registered users”, M. Bekturova noted.
By the way, the rating is formed in real time.
The Deputy Mayor explained that now it is not public, it is intended for the public health administration and is used to evaluate the activities of the medical institution and its staff.
“But I think that according to the results of the first half of the year or the year, data on the best or most popular physicians will be made public”, the speaker added.
The Mayor’s Office of Astana is going to extend this practice to the education sphere, as well.
It should be noted that the Smart Astana app, created within the Digital Kazakhstan program framework, aims to improve the quality of life and well-being of the inhabitants of the city of Astana. Residents and visitors have the opportunity to use free online services and receive important information instantly. This application has been also created for the conversion of Astana in Smart City.
