Foreign Ministry, Kazakh Invest Company – major actors of country’s investment policy
Established in March 2017, the major actor in the government investment policy’s implementation - “KAZAKH INVEST” National Company - together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aim to promote steady social and economic development of Kazakhstan by attracting foreign investments in the priority sectors of the economy and complex support of investment projects, the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s press service informed.
“KAZAKH INVEST” National Company, being widely represented abroad and the country’s regions, provides a full package of services to support investment projects from ideas to their realisation during the post-investment period using the “single window” principle”, as well as operates as a single focal point for SEZs in Kazakhstan.
The Company acts as:
1. A single negotiator representing the Kazakh Government in discussing the prospects and conditions for investment projects’ implementation;
2. One of the main access points to the system of public services’ provision, including both investment preferences as state support for investors and the issuing permits and approvals necessary for investment projects’ implementation and their application.
To date, work with investors is systematized, new approaches towards attracting foreign investors are implemented, main areas of work are defined:
1.Complex support of projects from ideas to their application;
2.Tracing, packing new projects and searching for local partners;
3.Targeting and attracting investments to Kazakhstan’s economy;
4.Promoting the country’s investment opportunities.
