Kazakh President met representatives of ‘Koktem shuagy’ women’s public
Opening the meeting, the Head of State has congratulated the women present and every woman of the country on the upcoming International Women’s Day.
The Kazakh President underlined the importance to carry out the new large-scale social measures aiming at supporting mothers with many children and outlined the support’s gradual increase.
“They [measures – editorial remark] are largely meant to enhance social support to families with many children and with low salaries. Social payments and allowances as well as the wages of low-paid workers of the budgetary sphere will rise, the construction of new houses is underway. In addition, projects as “Bakhytty otbasy”, “Kutty meken” and “Auyl – El besigi” focus on systematic support,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The Head of State noted the exceptional role of women in upbringing the future generation of Kazakh citizens.
“It is a woman who gives the world the most important thing – gives birth to a new life. Three children are brought up in a family on average, that is over 400 thousand Kazakh citizens are born within a year, with them being the richness and pride of not only a family but the entire country. Therefore, our mothers deserve deep respect and gratefulness, and particularly women with many children due to their great deed for the entire nation’s wealth,” the President said.
In his speech, the President outlined Kazakh citizens’ wellbeing and other family values.
“In our dynamic, innovational age, you are realizing the full potential and skills in the name of our country, reaching new heights and considerable results in many areas and directions. It is the women who are agents of my modernization ideas,” said the President.
The Kazakh President spoke of the women’s participation in the country’s life.
“Today, the share of women engaged in education and healthcare is 70%, in finance and insurance – 60%, in agriculture – 45%. There are many of those who found themselves in businesses, the creative sector and sport. It is high time for us, men, to think how not to fall behind,” said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Concluding his speech, the Head of State noted that Kazakh women reflect the mirror of soul, character and mentality of the people.
“It is our responsibility to create every opportunity to fully implement your creative capacity,” said the President.
