Yerbolat Dossayev heads National Bank of Kazakhstan

Deputies of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament have approved the candidature of Yerbolat Dossayev for the position of the Chairperson of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
Senate Chairman Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said that the Head of State accepted the resignation of the National Bank Chairman Daniyar Akishev.
“On the instructions of the Head of State, I came to agree on the candidacy for the appointment of the Chairman of the National Bank. President Nursultan Nazarbayev proposes Yerbolat Dossayev as a candidate. During his service he showed himself as a qualified financier. I ask for your consent to the appointment”, the head of the Presidential Administration Asset Issekeshev said.
We remind that in 2016, Yerbolat Dossayev was the Chairman of the board of Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC, and since August 2017 he served as the Deputy Prime Minister of the country.
