N. Nazarbayev met with winners of 100 New Faces project
During the meeting, the Head of State thoroughly familiarized with the achievements of the participants in the second phase of the project.
In his speech, Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized the importance of realizing the potential of young people for the benefit of strengthening the statehood and sovereignty of Kazakhstan.
“All of you are children of independence. We are the generation that has embodied our ancestors’ dream. Now it's your time. You shouldn’t forget this”, the President of Kazakhstan said.
The Head of State focused on the history of the formation of independent Kazakhstan and spoke about the emerging prospects for the promotion of young people.

Nursultan Nazarbayev made a point of the importance of preserving and further increasing the pace of development of national science and education.
“Artificial intelligence, information technology, bioengineering, nanotechnology - all these innovations will contribute to our progress. Therefore, we’ve opened new laboratories for start-up projects in one of the pavilions of EXPO-2017”, the President of Kazakhstan stated.
Noting the success of the contest participants, the Head of State pointed out the importance of using effective opportunities and time for personal and professional growth by young people.
“Everything depends on a person, from his aspirations. We should dream and take action to achieve our goals. The participants in this project are an example for the younger generation. You show by your results that everything in life can be achieved”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President of Kazakhstan also spoke in detail about the history of the construction of the capital of the state - Astana.
“First of all, the capital means people. An effective medical cluster, a magnificent opera theater, and unique sports complexes have been established here. The level of development of the capital and the quality of life of its inhabitants are growing”, the Head of State said.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the role of active youth in the progressive development of the country.
“Each of you contributes to the future of Kazakhstan, which will be represented by educated people who believe in themselves and speak different languages. Today you have all the possibilities for this”, the President of Kazakhstan said.
The Head of State focused on measures taken to develop the national economy and create new sources of growth.
“If we rely on mineral resources, we will remain without means. Therefore, we launched the process of the country’s industrialization, which will allow us to build a different economy. For six years, we have built 1,200 plants and factories. We will continue this work”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President of Kazakhstan also focused on the importance of the development of the agricultural sector, the use of the potential of science and the achievements of technological progress.
