Income and quality of life of the population will be the main criteria for the effectiveness of the state

Nursultan Nazarbayev outlined the country's development priorities for 2019, while noting that the main task is to be ready to ensure the necessary economic growth rates and not to reduce the indicators.
“Last year I began a systematic review of the social policy. Today, not all countries can afford such an increase in social spending and such work. Therefore, these public funds must be used efficiently; control is needed. Two indicators - income and quality of life - I declare the main criteria for the effectiveness of the state. The work of each Minister and Governor must be assessed on the implementation of these indicators”, the Head of State said.
