Industrialization Day: Nazarbayev launched 28 new projects

In the course of the teleconference, the President of Kazakhstan launched two large giants of the mining and smelting complex, Bakyrchik Mining Enterprise LLP and the plant for the production of cathode copper in Karaganda region Sary-Arka Copper Processing.

For reference: The capacity of Bakyrchik Mining Enterprise LLP (East Kazakhstan region) is 1.2 million tons of the gold-containing concentrate, the share of foreign investment: the Russian Federation - 65%. 1100 jobs were created. The Kyzyl gold project, located in Auyezov village, Zharminsky district, was acquired in 2014. It is one of the largest deposits in Kazakhstan. Today this project is a key investment project for the development of Polymetal to expand the company's production. The products will be exported to the CIS countries and far-abroad.

The capacity of the plant for the production of copper cathode “Sary-Arka Copper Processing” is from 6,000 to 9,000 tons per year. 550 jobs were created. A full production cycle is envisaged, starting from the extraction of raw materials, the preparation of raw materials for processing and the production of high-quality cathode copper. The products are planned to be exported to Europe and China.

In the field of engineering and construction industry, the President launched Prommashkomplekt railway production complex in Pavlodar region, which will increase production from the current 75 to 200 thousand a year; Shymkent plant for the production of power transformers of the Asia Trafo Company; the Kazakhstan-Chinese investment project - Gezhuba Shieli Cement with a capacity of 1 million tons per year in Kyzylorda region. It should be noted that all these productions were previously absent in Kazakhstan.

The Head of State also launched the waste sorting complex in Almaty Green Recycle LLP, with a capacity of 550 thousand tons and the plant of metal-plastic products Raduga LLP in Petropavlovsk, with a full cycle of recycling of secondary polymers and the release of popular consumer goods. KEGOC launched a 500 kV line of Semey-Aktogay-Taldykorgan-Alma, and the project to process associated petroleum gas at the Kozhasay field - Gas Processing Company LLP with a capacity of 300 million cubic meters was implemented in Aktobe region.

In the field of “alternative energy” Samruk Kazyna - United Green LLP launched the joint Kazakh-British project - Burnoye solar power station with a capacity of 100 MW in Zhambyl region. Also the Head of State launched the first stage of the wind power station in Tupkaragan district in Mangistau region (43.6 MW) “Redkometalnaya Kompaniya” LLP.

Karat LLP (Atyrau region) with an automated mill equipped with modern equipment; the first stage of one of the largest projects in the agricultural sector of the last years of Makinsk poultry farm (Akmola region) with a capacity of 50,000 tons meat per year; as well as the meat processing complex in the city of Arkalyk “Torkay Et” LLP were commissioned within the agricultural sector.

In addition, in the food industry, the multinational holding Mareven Food Holdings built in Almaty region a plant for the deep processing of flour and food production. GoldenCamel GroupLTD LLP in Turkestan region launched a company for processing camel and mare's milk, which will produce dry milk, baby food, energy drinks.

The Head of State noted the need for the development of enterprises for the processing of agricultural products, which will allow to realize them with higher added value.

“Now there are a lot of opportunities for export - there is a Chinese direction, there is also the Persian Gulf”, the President said.

As part of one of 5 social initiatives on the gasification of Astana, during the teleconference, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev launched the implementation of the first stage of the Saryarka gas pipeline along the Kyzylorda-Zhezkazgan-Karaganda-Temirtau-Astana route with a length of 1061 km with a throughput of 2,2 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

“This is our largest project. Finally, we, as a state producing oil and gas, have paid attention to the gasification of the center of Kazakhstan. This is a big project, a great length, our industry has the ability to do it quickly. I think that next year we will talk that the construction of this gas pipeline has almost finished, which will reach our capital and other regions, raising the industry and providing people with blue fuel. I wish you good luck and to complete the tasks in time”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

The President also watched online the construction of the first in the history of the republic concession project of the Almaty Main Ring Road (BAKAD), where about 3 thousand jobs will be created, and also the Head of State opened the vehicles movement on the Uralsk-Taskala road in West Kazakhstan region, connecting our country with Russia and Eastern Europe.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the launch of the BAKAD will improve the environmental situation and expand the flow of cargo from China.

“After the project implementation, 38 thousand cars every day will be able to use the bypass road. On the one hand, this will positively affect the ecology of the city, on the other hand, it will allow to increase the road transport of goods between China and Europe”, the Head of State emphasized.

Residents of the village of Ozerki in East Kazakhstan region and Ornek village in Zhambyl region received broadband Internet access thanks to the implementation of the Digital Kazakhstan program. As part of digitalization, Ekibastuz launched the largest data center in Central Asia, Kostanay launched the most digital mill complex in the country - Best Kostanay LLP, a plant for the production of modems, switches and automatic digital telephone exchanges Digital System Servis LLP established in Astana, in Almaty Kaz Tech Innovations LLP launched an innovative instrument-making and radio electronics plant.

In addition, the Head of State launched the work of the information system for paperless workflow in the field of air cargo e-Freight and full-service center of Kazpost company, digital-systems of oil transportation management in Kazakhstan of KazTransOil company.

It should be noted that in 2018 more than 100 objects were commissioned in Kazakhstan in the amount of about 1.2 trillion tenge, 13 thousand jobs were created.
