Nazarbayev paid attention to effectiveness of training qualified specialists at KIMEP
During the meeting, the Head of State was informed about the current activities and implementation of development plans for KIMEP University.
The President of Kazakhstan paid attention to the effectiveness of the university work in training of qualified specialists for the needs of the modern economy.
“The university was established in 1992. Over the years, about 12 thousand students graduated from the university. Today, faculty members from around the world work here. 2109 students are enrolled in 29 educational programs on a paid basis”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In turn, C. Bang noted that 93% of university graduates are employed within 6 months after graduation.
The President of KIMEP University JSC also stressed that this year the educational institution was recognized as the best in the field of developing science and innovations according to the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.
