Nazarbayev and Putin discussed prospects for tourism development of two countries

During the meeting, the sides discussed key cooperation issues and future prospects for the development of relations in the field of tourism, the press service of Akorda reported.

After welcoming the President of Russia, the Head of State noted the productive nature of the last session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

Noting the relevance of the topic of today's Forum for interregional cooperation, the President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of cooperation in the tourism industry in the context of cultural and economic interaction.

In turn, V. Putin stressed that Kazakhstan is one of the main trade and economic partners, and also noted the high rates of promotion of bilateral relations.

In addition, the President of Russia pointed to the great potential for further deepening cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.

After the talks, the Heads of State were presented with a presentation of the development of the Baikonur space complex. The Presidents were also informed about the progress of the construction of social facilities, the results of the repair of infrastructure networks and the gasification of residential areas in the city of Baikonur.

Earlier, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia jointly visited the exhibition devoted to new plans and prospects for the development of the tourism industry of the two states.

The exhibition presents Kazakhstan and Russian companies offering a wide range of tourism products for the population of both countries.
