Nursultan Nazarbayev turned to Kazakhstanis with Address
The new Address “Growth in prosperity of Kazakhstanis: rise of income and life quality” is devoted to the topical issues of the socio-economic development of the country and the tasks to further improve the welfare of Kazakhstanis.
The Head of State instructed the Government to increase the minimum wage by 1.5 times from January 1, 2019.
“To increase the minimum wage - the salaries of 275 thousand civil servants in Kazakhstan will grow by an average of 35%”, the President said.
According to the Kazakh President, 96 billion tenge will be allocated annually to wages’ increase. Also, the minimum wage will not be tied to the subsistence minimum.
It should be noted that in the Address to the people of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2018, “New Opportunities for Development under the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, the Head of State set ten main tasks, including industrialization, introduction of smart technologies in the agro-industrial complex, development of transport and logical infrastructure, new quality of education and others.
