Presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan discussed coop prospects
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral relations and prospects for further deepening of cooperation in various sectors of the economy.
"Our countries have established trusting relationships. We have always provided assistance and support to Tajikistan. Today we are aiming to deepen this cooperation and develop mutual trade", Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In addition, the President of Kazakhstan pointed to the importance of taking measures to further strengthen cooperation between the states and expand integration processes within the CIS.
In turn, the President of Tajikistan noted the strategic nature of the existing relations between the two countries.
"Kazakhstan is one of the main strategic and economic partners of Tajikistan. Our trade and economic ties are expanding", E. Rahmon said.
The President of Tajikistan stressed the authority of Nursultan Nazarbayev on the international scene and expressed his gratitude to Kazakhstan for the economic and political support provided.
