The head of state got familiarized with technology of production of long products and was informed about further plans for the development of the metallurgical plant.

Besides, the President was informed about plans for the reconstruction of TPP-1 and TPP-2 and measures undertaking to secure regional ecological development.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a meeting with a staff of the plant.

"I am brimming over with special feelings. Fir the first time I had crossed the gate of this plant in 1958. Nothing was there at that time, it was built before my eyes," the President of Kazakhstan shared his memories.

It should be noted the Kazakh Leader noted hard work of metallurgists and staff of the plant stressing he keeps track of events concerning the plant and the Temirtau city in general.

Moreover, during the conversation, the Head of State reminded the company's management of the social responsibility of business for improving the quality of life of citizens. In particular, the President of Kazakhstan pointed to the need to increase the number of medical, educational and sports facilities in the city.

Representatives of the plant's labor collective expressed support for the initiatives of Nursultan Nazarbayev and the state programs realized in the country.
