Rule of law, and Constitution’s supremacy – paramount issue of Kazakhstan’s successful development – Head of State
The forum dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan is held by the Constitutional Council in conjunction with the Foundation of the FirstPresident of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy with the participation of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and the OSCE Programs Office.
The event wasalso attended by members of the Parliament, heads of central state bodies,bodies of constitutional control, courts and human rights institutions of Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Latvia, Georgia, etc., representatives ofinternational organizations, scientific community of Kazakhstan, legal expertsfrom neighboring countries and far abroad as well.
The participantsof the conference in their speeches stressed the special role of NA Nazarbayevin the development of the constitutional construction of Kazakhstan, discussedthe implementation of the
Message "New opportunities for development inthe conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution", as well as the stagesof formation and development of Astana.
Kazakh State Secretary Gulshara Abdykalikova read the welcome speech of thePresident Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"Welcome to the conference dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The current agenda of the conference emphasizes thespecial importance of constitutional principles and norms that ensure theconstruction of the foundations of a modern, democratic, legal, social andsecular state. The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted in 1995during a nationwide referendum is the foundation for the development ofKazakhstan's statehood, strict observance of human rights and freedoms,” Mrs.Abdykalikova reads.
“The rule of law, the supremacy of the Constitution, the rule of law is at present the paramount issue of thesuccessful development of Kazakhstan, its decent positioning in the globalworld. that the potential of the current Constitution for many years will servethe further development of Kazakhstan and its entry into the list of the 30 topdeveloped countries of the world, " Nursultan Nazarbayev pointed out inhis speech.
