Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Kazakhstanis on Eid al-Fitr
"Dear compatriots! I sincerely congratulate you on the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, especially revered throughout the Muslim world!
The holy month of Ramadan symbolizes spiritual renewal. At this time people rethink their affairs and relationships, referring to the values of charity, kindness, openness and harmony.
The desire for spiritual renewal is important for all of us and perfectly suits the tasks facing modern Kazakhstani society. We need to use the creative role of Islam, historically contributing to the development of advanced scientific knowledge and encouraging people to self-improvement and harmony.
On these holidays, every Muslim tries to do good deeds, bring joy to others and help those in need.
Good intentions and noble deeds are at the core of our national identity, contributing to the preservation of the unity of our people.
On the bright holiday of Eid al-Fitr I wish you good health, happiness, well-being and prosperity!", the President congratulated.
