Nursultan Nazarbayev held several meetings within state visit to China

The Head of State congratulated Li Keqiang on his appointment to the post of the Premier of the State Council of China and on the successful holding of the 19th congress of the Communist Party of China.

The President of Kazakhstan noted that the political and economic partnership between the two countries has reached a new level and should serve as an example of mutually beneficial effective cooperation.

"I remember your visit to Kazakhstan in December 2014, when you put forward very interesting and bold ideas for implementing a joint industrial and investment program between our countries. Thanks to this initiative, we signed 51 projects totaling 28 billion dollars, 11 of which are already implemented", Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

In conclusion, the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the field of energy, transport and agriculture.

Also during the state visit to China, Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the creative group of the first joint Kazakh-Chinese film "Composer", dedicated to the friendship of two composers - Xian Xinghai, who was in our country during the Great Patriotic War, and Bakhytzhan Baikadamov.

During the presentation of the trailer for the film, the Head of State thanked the cast for professionalism and noted the high level of cooperation between the two countries in the cultural sphere.

The feature film was filmed by the "Kazakhfilm" studio named after Sh. Aimanov in partnership with the Chinese companies "Shinework Pictures" and "China Film Coproduction Corporation". The main roles were performed by Kazakhstan actors Berik Aitzhanov, Altynai Nogerbek, Aruzhan Dzhazilbekova, as well as Chinese actors Hu Jun and Yuan Quan.
