President of Kazakhstan was informed about preparations for Summit of Heads of Caspian states
During the meeting, the Head of State was reported on the socio-economic development of the region and the preparations for the Summit of the Heads of the Caspian states.
The President of Kazakhstan pointed to the need to carefully study the organizational issues of the Summit.
"It is planned to hold a summit of the Heads of the Caspian states in Aktau, in which leaders and delegations from five countries will take part. It is necessary to work out all the organizational issues of the upcoming meeting", Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In addition, Yeraly Tugzhanov reported on the progress of implementation of state and sectoral programs in the sphere of development of production, construction, agriculture, as well as attracting investments.
"There is an increase in basic economic indicators. Realization of all tasks set by you is carried out. At the end of 2017, production in the region reached 100.1%", the Governor of Mangistau region said.
Following the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions.
