Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov, the press service of Akorda informed.
During the meeting, Kairat Abdrakhmanov reported to the President on the current activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as plans for the upcoming period.
The President of Kazakhstan focused on the organizational and substantive issues of the preparation of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia and the Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States.
In the context of the instructions given at the enlarged meeting of the Government, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the special role of the Ministry in the process of attracting foreign investments to key sectors of the economy.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions.
