Nursultan Nazarbayev received Asset Issekeshev

During the meeting, the Head of State was provided with information on the social and economic development of the capital and the preparations for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana.

"At the end of 2017, socio-economic indicators of the city's development grew almost 2 times. The industry grew by 7 percent. For five years 46 industrial projects provided incomes in one trillion tenge", Asset Issekeshev said.

In addition, the President of Kazakhstan was reported on the growth of the private investment in fixed assets, whose share in the reporting period was 70%.

"Last year we had a record - 2.4 million square meters of housing were built. Now we are continuing the construction of four districts of the city at the expense of private investors and national companies", the Mayor of Astana said.
